Born in the Dominican Republic, Coach Martinez brings a rich baseball heritage and passion to every hitting lesson. Since beginning his coaching career in 2018, he has worked with players at all levels—from 9U travel baseball teams to currently serving as a varsity assistant coach at Rio Rancho High School. Coach Martinez focuses on developing strong fundamentals, personalized hitting mechanics, and mental approaches to help players maximize their potential at the plate. His experience across youth and high school levels equips him to tailor lessons to each player’s unique needs and goals.

My name is Tyler Campbell and I’m a current professional pitcher in the Pecos League. I’ve played baseball for 20 years now. My experience ranges deep from Volcano Vista High School (2015-2019), Northeastern Junior College (2019-2021), Alabama A&M University(2021-2023), Portland Mavericks(2024) to the Santa Fe Fuego (2025).
Some things I’ve accomplished over my time playing has included a high school state title in 2019 as well as the leading in innings pitched in both of my professional seasons in 2024 and 2025.

I bring in depth knowledge and passion for the game of baseball that can help younger athletes with in the physical and mental game. I specialize in pitching and hitting and can’t wait to help coach young ballplayers in reaching their full potential.

My name is Jack Kolich and I am currently a baseball coach with the McDermott Athletic Center. Having played baseball for twelve years, including two of them at Wayland Baptist University, I bring an in depth knowledge and passion for the development of players to reach the next level.

I specialize in fielding, hitting, and base running, while possessing valuable insight of the game as a whole. I am excited for the chance to work with young players and transform them into the best version of themselves.

My name is Tyler Sunstrom and I am an instructor at the McDermott Athletic Center. I’ve recently ended my baseball career at a New Mexico Highlands University after playing baseball for the last 15 years 

I focus in hitting and pitching and will provide an in depth analysis on both the physical and mental aspects of baseball. I’m excited to coach young and experienced players to their full potential!

Hi, I’m Jackson Roybal, a Rio Rancho High School graduate and collegiate pitcher. I currently pitch at Scottsdale Community College and have competed in the West Coast League, giving me experience playing against high-level competition.

I work with pitchers of all ages, from beginners to high school athletes, focusing on mechanics, velocity, command, confidence, and arm care. Every lesson is tailored to each player’s goals, and my goal is to help every athlete improve while building a love for the game.

My name is Matthew Richard Cornelius, and I am a former NCAA Division I left-handed pitcher who has had the opportunity to compete at Pima Community College, Arizona State University, and the University of New Mexico. Baseball has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and it has taught me the value of discipline, hard work, resilience, and continuous growth. In 2021, I was honored to be named the New Mexico Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year, an achievement that reflected not only my performance on the field but also my dedication to the game and my community. Throughout my baseball journey, I’ve learned from outstanding coaches, competed against elite talent, and gained valuable experience that I now enjoy sharing with the next generation of players. My goal as an instructor is to help young pitchers build a strong foundation while developing the confidence to compete at a high level. Every player is different, which is why I tailor each lesson to fit their individual needs and goals. Whether we’re improving mechanics, increasing velocity, developing command, protecting arm health, or strengthening the mental side of pitching, I’m committed to helping each athlete become the best version of themselves. I’m also continuing to pursue my own dream of playing professional baseball, so I understand firsthand the commitment, sacrifices, and mindset it takes to compete at the highest level. I bring that same passion and work ethic into every lesson, and I hope to inspire the players I work with to chase their own goals with confidence and determination.I believe success comes from consistency, preparation, and a willingness to learn every day. My mission is to help young athletes not only become better pitchers but also become confident competitors and teammates who love the game.
